Good-day Online Marketers, i would like to share some tips that could
bring you to a change of thought in your success or failure or realization
of what you are doing wrong and what you could be doing right to get you
to where you want to be.
In anything in your life, whether it's business, personal development or
just learning how to be a good person and live life day-to-day being
happy with who you are, these tips will help.
1. My favorite quote from James Allen/As a Man Thinketh- "A particular
train of thought persisted in, be it good or bad,cannot fail to produce its
results on the character or the circumstances. A man cannot directly choose
his circumstances, but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet
surely, shape his circumstances."
How does this apply to you? If you hadn't had any degree of success on the
Internet yet, you need to change your thoughts on why you are doing this.
If you think that you don't deserve success or all these programs are scams,
or don't think success is real on the internet, you need to focus. Focus
only on one thing and getting good at one thing, you may concentrate on
writing and creating articles,researching markets- there are a lot of very
good tools for doing this and they are free. It's not only about positive
and creative thinking- it's being absorded in what you are doing.FOCUS
2.If you are like anybody else who started on the internet, you have purchased
programs that you thought would bring you overnight success and you haven't
even read half of the e-book you bought and you are still looking for that
magic button. In each of these programs that your purchased, there is some
valuable information that you can use- find it... it maybe tips on SEO, tips
on finding valuable back-links to your website and work on getting good on
some of these methods that are taught in the program. Set aside time every day
to become the expert in one area and continue your research every day- but stop
buying programs and invest in your business instead. INVEST YOUR TIME WISELY
3.Treating your business like a real business. You started researching Internet
Marketing because you probably don't have the money to invest in an off-line or
bricks and mortar business downtown. The internet is a viable option to create
a successful business for anyone. Invest in tools that you can use, there a many
great tools out there for you to use in marketing. You may also invest in training
groups or a membership in an area that you are interested- research "Internet
Marketing Training". Invest in yourself and your business- stop buying the latest
offer out there- there are product launches every week with all the same stuff.
Ironically,you may end up promoting those types of products and realize- this is
the type of stuff i got caught up in and this is what held me back.
INVEST IN YOUR BUSINESS
4.Define your goals and take smaller steps every day. A big or large goal you have
in mind is "To become a successful Internet Marketer" This goal is great, but it
doesn't have a timeline and is missing the details. You may want re-write and it will say
" Your Name will reach his goal of being a successful Internet Marketer by October 2011"
It takes more than just writing this goal- but it will take a series of actions steps
including; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Start by writing some
simple daily goals, then weekly- but take action on them today. A simple daily goal
might be- you will set aside 15 minutes a day to research your market and write down
your conclusions or findings.You may want to set aside 20 minutes a day writing comments
on other blogs and create back-links to your site. Write your goals- that is very important, but
the most important part of this exercise is- ACTION, do it now, do it today. ACTION
5. Having confidence in yourself. All the successful marketers out there are no different
than you. They all started the same way, no success until they found something that worked for
them and this was by trial and error and mostly error.
The internet is a level playing field and an equal opportunity for everybody.
You may think that the successful players have the advantage- to some degree- yes,
because they have more money to spend on marketing campaigns and they can easily dominate
a particular niche, but you can do just as well or better by following and learning
from their success. The majority of the programs that are being sold to you and i are selling
just that... Remember- CONFIDENCE
